Sword Coast Legends announced as a new D&D RPG for PC

Wizards have blown our tiny woollen socks off today with an out-of-nowhere announcement that they’ll be launching a huge new D&D RPG for PC gamers this year called Sword Coast Legends.

Some old-school talent is at the helm, including the game director from Dragon Age: Origins, as well as veterans from Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights.

It’s the Neverwinter Nights connection that will be of most interest to us tabletop players, as Sword Coast Legends will include a full dungeon-building mode where you can make your own adventures and run them for other players.

Hit up the official website here, and check out the trailer below. It’s launching later in 2015.
