Pathfinder players are about to get a dose of the occult — beyond even the usual level of wizardry — with Occult Adventures, an upcoming sourcebook whose details have been previewed today.

The new book, available in the next few months (exact date TBA) will include psychic magic, aura reading, new classes like mesmerists (who control the mind) spiritualists (who have powerful ghost allies) and occultists.

The people at io9 have a great preview of the new book, including some snazzy close-up illustrations. Occult Adventures looks like it’ll be a great one for me in particular, as I’m currently DM’ing a game centered around bizarre supernatural mysteries. Can’t wait!
