Pillars of Eternity’s card game spin-off arrives on Kickstarter

Lords of the Eastern Reach is the new card-game spin-off promised for the old-school Pillars of Eternity CRPG, and it’s just hit Kickstarter.

Designed for 2-4 players, the game revolves around players building up their own territories, sending their armies to explore dungeons (or attack other players) and managing their resources effectively.

It’s a minimum $39 USD buy-in, but they’ve already smashed their $30,000 goal so hopefully it should be a sure thing from here on out.

Pillars of Eternity is also getting its own tabletop roleplaying game, though no details on that have been released yet.
