Someone on Facebook posted about this last week, and it seems like a pretty great upgrade to the board game experience?

Sit Down & Shut Up… Play A Goddamn Megagame

It looks like a lot of fun, but looking at other megagames that get run by the same group, the themes seem pretty grognardy war stories. It would be cool to see what other kinds of themes and stories could be tackled with these kinds of systems that mix board game mechanics with social roleplaying.

What do you folks think about the concept? Would you like to see these kinds of games being run at conventions?

Woah! I had never heard of this until now (or seen this topic, until now. I should figure out a way to get alerts on this thing).

That seems quite rad! I would definitely go to such a thing nearby if it existed, or if it was run at a PAX or whatever.
