Games Workshop tears down its iconic Space Marine statue at HQ

The iconic Space Marine statue that has stood proudly outside Warhammer World in Nottingham for decades has been removed by Games Workshop.

Replacing the gallant, if somewhat disproportionate, Astartes is a Stormcast Eternal from Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, the new Warhammer Fantasy replacement that just launched.

The Imperial Aquila on the front of the building has also been removed, making way for a new bit of Age of Sigmar heraldry.

Head over to Spiky Bitz to see more pics. The Marine is dead, long live the Marine, etc.
